Snickers is a great example of a Classic American Shetland Pony. At 15 years old he is still competitive at the top level. That speaks for itself in my opinion. He is smart, athletic and curious. He is probably the most willing pony I have ever met. He is very dynamic and strong, but he does not have a mean bone in his body. I can sit underneath him and clip and as soon as I stand up he stomps the fly off his leg, never once flinching until I get up. He is a people pony, but is loving his socialization with the herd. He is the protector and friend to all the younger ponies. One in a million. Snickers has been sold to the Wichita Riding Academy. We wish him and his new owners and riders the best of luck. Can't wait to watch them in the ring. |
